Aniva as a Remi Health alternative
Six collection methods, over 2,500 parameters, one European contract.
You are choosing a Diagnostics as a Service supplier for a longevity clinic, a health brand or a digital product in Europe. Remi Health is a real option and it describes its own service clearly, so the fair comparison is between the facts each company publishes rather than between two sets of adjectives.
What each company publishes about itself
Everything stated below about Remi Health comes from remihealth.com and remihealth.com/longevity, both read on 6 September 2026.
How much catalogue your roadmap actually needs
Remi Health publishes 150+ CE-marked tests, and its longevity page names 70+ biomarkers with four sample panels that run from about ten markers to about fourteen. That covers what most preventive programmes sell in their first two years, because a metabolic panel, a hormone panel and a cardiovascular panel between them use perhaps forty markers.
Aniva publishes over 2,500 orderable parameters across eight modalities, and transcriptomics, proteomics and microbiome sequencing are among them. The difference matters only when your roadmap includes something outside a standard blood panel. The honest question is whether you will sell pharmacogenomics, a polygenic risk score or an RNA panel inside the term of the contract you sign.
A brand that will sell one micronutrient panel for two years is well served by either supplier. A clinic that wants to add sequencing in year two is choosing a catalogue it cannot yet name, and that is the case where breadth is worth paying for.
Both suppliers do home collection, and the venous route differs.
Venous draw
In your clinic or at 25+ partner locations
Capillary kit
Tasso, lancet, finger-prick
At-home kit
Mailed to your customer, prepaid return
Saliva
Hormones, genetics, microbiome
Urine
Metabolites, hormones, screening
Stool
Microbiome, iFOBT, calprotectin
Both companies run home collection, because a capillary device, a self-swab and a mailed kit cover micronutrient status, hormone profiles and microbiome analysis without a clinic visit. Remi Health names the Tasso upper-arm device, a lancet fingerstick kit and the Evalyn brush.
The venous draw is where the two published answers differ. Remi Health states that phlebotomy runs through partner clinics, and Aniva publishes 25+ partner locations across Germany alongside a draw performed by your own team in your own rooms. If your programme sells a broad panel that a fingertip cannot fill, ask both suppliers how many locations exist in the specific cities you sell in.
Which countries are live today, and which are named as next
Remi Health publishes Germany, Austria and Switzerland as its live markets today. Five further countries are named as launching on the same pages, and they are the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Belgium. That is a wider published footprint than the German draw network, and if you sell in Vienna or Zurich next quarter it is the strongest reason on this page to talk to them.
Aniva sells Diagnostics as a Service to partners across Europe, while the consumer membership and the 25+ physical draw locations are in Germany. Kit shipping, laboratory analysis and physical collection can each stop at a different border, so ask both suppliers about all three for every country on your own list.
What your customer reads after the result
Remi Health publishes physician-validated results under your brand, and it offers a co-branded hosted flow for partners who have no developers. That shortens a launch considerably, because a brand with no engineering team can go live without building a front end at all.
Aniva publishes a white-label dashboard with a plain-language explanation for every marker, a trend view across repeated panels, a customer-facing PDF, and your logo, colours and domain. The dashboard is published in German and English, with further languages available on request.
For a membership or a subscription, the trend view is the part that decides whether somebody renews, because a second panel only means something when the first one is visible beside it.
When Remi Health is the better fit
A comparison that only argues one way is not worth reading, so here is where the answer is theirs.
You sell in Austria or Switzerland now, and you want those markets live under one supplier today.
Your panel list stays inside common blood markers, which 150 CE-marked tests already cover.
You want a published commercial shape before the first call, because no minimums is stated on the site.
You have no engineering team, and a co-branded hosted flow is worth more to you than an API.
Your security review asks for a BSI C5 attestation by name.
Questions buyers ask before the first call
Does Aniva replace a kit supplier or add to one?
Aniva runs the at-home kit and the capillary kit as two of its six collection methods, so a partner can use it for kits alone. The reason most clinics look further is the venous draw, because that is the method a mailed kit cannot cover.
Is the venous network available outside Germany?
The 25+ partner draw locations are in Germany, while the Diagnostics as a Service offering is sold to partners across Europe. Ask on the call how physical collection works in your own country, because the answer differs by market.
What does Aniva cost, and is there a minimum?
Aniva has not published a price or a minimum for the partner offering, so both are agreed in the commercial conversation. Remi Health publishes no minimums and per-kit and per-biomarker pricing, so take that difference to both calls.
What do our developers get on day one?
Aniva publishes a REST API with signed webhook events for sample status, a sandbox with test data, and documentation at docs.anivahealth.com. Remi Health publishes an OAuth2 API with webhooks and names its order, phlebotomy and result endpoints.
How long does it take to go live?
Both companies publish four weeks from a signed contract, and Aniva includes the white-label setup in that four weeks. Kalia Lab is named as a live partner running Berlin, Hamburg and Duesseldorf on a single integration.
