Blood testing for telemedicine platforms, ordered without referring your customer elsewhere

Aniva supplies the kits, the shipping, the accredited laboratory and the results interface, so your doctor orders a panel during the consultation and reads the values in the same record. Aniva is best for platforms that prescribe treatments needing regular blood monitoring, because one contract covers every part of the test.

Consultation

The panel is ordered during the consultation

Your doctor picks the panel in your own console.
The kit or the venous draw is arranged for the customer.
The result is saved in this same consultation record.
What it is

What Aniva supplies and what your platform keeps

Diagnostics as a service means that one supplier provides the collection kits, the shipping, the accredited laboratory and the results interface, so that another company can sell blood testing under its own name.

Your doctor keeps the consultation and the clinical decision, and Aniva runs everything that happens to the sample.

Your doctor orders a panel from your own console or through the interface.
The customer gives a sample at home or at one of over 25 partner locations across Germany.
Core panel results are in the console within 24 hours of pickup, and specialty analyses take longer.
The result is structured data, so your platform can read it rather than store a document.
Every screen the customer sees shows your brand and not ours.
What happens today

Today somebody outside your platform runs that test

A video consultation can do almost everything an in-person appointment can do, except the one step that needs a laboratory.

The customer leaves after the referral

One Swiss teledermatology provider states on its own site that its dermatologists can diagnose online in 85 percent of cases, and that the rest are sent into a practice for a blood test, a swab or an operation.

Weight management is where the referral costs most

The German obesity guideline of October 2024 says a specific set of blood values should be measured during diagnosis, and it lists TSH, total, LDL and HDL cholesterol, fasting glucose, triglycerides, uric acid, creatinine with eGFR and albuminuria.

The video consultations are already growing

German panel doctors billed 2.7 million video consultations in 2024, which is 24.8 percent more than in 2023. The same is true across Europe, where teleconsultations were 16 percent of all doctor consultations in 2022 in the sixteen EU countries with published figures.

What changes

Your doctor reads the result in the same consultation record

When the order and the result both stay in your platform, the customer never leaves it, and the comparison below shows that difference.

Today
The customer leaves your platform to get the test, and the result never comes back to you.
The consultation ends with a referral
The customer books elsewhere for the draw
Another provider holds the result
Your platform sees nothing come back
With Aniva
The order, the kit and the result are all in your own platform, and the customer never leaves it.

How it runs

What that looks like from the order to the result

Keeping the test inside your platform has four steps, and your engineers are only involved in the last one, where your platform receives the result.

Your doctor orders the panel

They pick a saved panel in the console, or your platform posts an order through the interface during the consultation itself.

The customer gives a sample

A capillary kit arrives at home, or the customer books a venous draw at a partner location, and the courier is arranged either way.

An accredited laboratory analyses it

A partner laboratory accredited to ISO 15189 and working to RiliBÄK, the German quality guideline for medical laboratories, runs the panel and releases the result.

Your platform receives the result

A signed webhook tells your backend that the result is ready, and the structured values are in the same record as the consultation.

The numbers

The figures your team will be asked for

Anyone who has to approve this asks the same four questions, so here are the answers before they ask.

2,500+

orderable parameters through one interface and one laboratory network

24h

core panel turnaround measured from sample pickup, with specialty analyses taking longer

4wks

from a signed contract to the first blood draw

25+

partner draw locations across Germany where a customer can give a venous sample

Who does what

Who is responsible for each part of it

This is the split as it is written into the contract, so you can see which parts are ours and which stay with you.

Who does what

Owning the customer relationship
Responsibility for the analysis
Chasing a sample that failed
Building the results interface
Where the data is processed

Building it yourself

You share the customer with whoever runs the test
You contract each laboratory yourself
Usually nobody chases it, and you hear it from the customer
Your engineers build one for every laboratory format
Wherever each supplier happens to host it

With Aniva

You keep the customer, because the whole process is under your brand
The partner laboratory, under ISO 15189 and RiliBÄK
Aniva flags it and a redraw is arranged
One interface, structured results and signed webhooks

The questions telemedicine teams ask next

Most teams have the same few doubts at this stage, and these are the answers.

Do our customers ever see the name Aniva

No, because the console, the customer dashboard, the result document and the emails all show your brand, and the kit can be produced in your packaging as well.

Can a doctor order a single marker rather than a panel

Yes, because the catalogue is orderable parameter by parameter, and you can also save your own panels so that a doctor picks one item during a consultation.

What happens when a sample cannot be measured

Aniva flags the sample in your console and arranges a redraw, so your team hears about the failure from us rather than from the customer.

Which collection methods can we offer

Venous draw at a partner location, capillary kit including Tasso for collection at home, saliva, urine and stool, and which one is used depends on the test.

Is the console a medical device

The administrative console and the dashboards are designed as non qualifying software under the medical device rules, while conformity for the assay itself is held by the partner laboratory and the device manufacturer.

How long does the integration take

Four weeks from contract to the first draw is normal, and a team that only wants the console rather than the interface can start sooner.
