Partner-Portal

In one sentence

A Partner-Portal is the web console a diagnostics supplier gives your team, for placing orders, following samples and reading results without writing code. It is the route for operations and clinical staff who are not developers.

A Partner-Portal, or partner console, is the browser interface your staff sign in to. From it a team places an order, checks which stage a sample has reached, reads a finished report and answers a customer question without asking an engineer for help. Aniva has a partner console your team can work in without writing code.

The console matters because most of the daily work in a diagnostics service is done by people rather than by software. A clinic with no development team can run the whole service in a console, while a platform with engineers usually uses both, with the API inside the customer-facing product and the console for the support team.

  • Ask which roles exist in the console and what each role is allowed to see.
  • Ask whether a support agent can find one customer's sample by its identifier.
  • Ask how a rejected sample and the reason for it are shown to your team.
  • Ask whether orders can be placed in bulk for a clinic day with many customers.
  • Ask who at your company can add and remove users of the console.

A console also changes how you can evaluate a supplier, because you can ask for a demonstration account and give it to the people who would use it every day. Their verdict after an hour is more useful than a feature list in a proposal.

In this glossary, REST API covers the route for teams with developers, while White-Labeling covers what your customer sees and Befund covers the result document your staff read.
