Who it's for

Is this panel for me?

This panel is for you if any of the following sound familiar.

  • You eat selectively. Vegetarian, vegan, low animal-fat, or any diet that limits B12, A, K, or D-rich foods.
  • You are on long-term medication. PPIs deplete B12. Metformin lowers folate. Statins reduce fat-soluble vitamin absorption. The contraceptive pill shifts B-vitamin balance.
  • You suspect deficiency. Persistent fatigue, brain fog, mood dips, brittle nails, slow wound healing, or pins and needles you cannot explain.
  • You are 50 or over. Absorption drops with age. Vitamin D, B12, and K status are worth checking each year.
  • You already supplement. Verify the dose is doing what it should, instead of guessing.

FAQ

Questions about this panel

How do I prepare for the blood test?

To ensure accurate results: 72 hours before, stop taking any supplements. 24 hours before, avoid alcohol, exercise, and intense physical activity. 10–12 hours before, begin fasting (no food) and drink plenty of water. Continue your regular medications unless instructed otherwise by your doctor, and let us know what you're taking.

Why do I need to stop supplements 72 hours before?

Supplements can directly affect the biomarkers we're measuring — for example, taking Vitamin D supplements will raise your Vitamin D blood level and mask a deficiency. Stopping supplements 72 hours before your test ensures we measure your true baseline levels, which leads to more accurate and actionable results.

Is it a finger prick or a full blood draw?

Your initial Core Panel uses a standard venous blood draw from your arm — the clinical gold standard, allowing us to run the full range of 100+ biomarker tests with maximum accuracy. For some follow-up tests, we also offer at-home finger-prick test kits that are mailed to your door and sent back to the lab — convenient for targeted retests of specific markers.

How does the blood test appointment work?

After signing up, you choose a partner location and book a time slot through our platform. The blood draw itself takes up to 15 minutes. A trained professional at the partner practice handles the draw — you just show up fasted and hydrated.

How long until I get my results?

For the Core Panel, results are typically ready within 5 business days. Across all panels, 95% of results are available within 5–10 business days. If you booked additional specialized tests, some may take up to 2–4 weeks. You'll receive a notification as soon as your results and action plan are ready in the Aniva Health OS.

How often should I get my blood tested?

We recommend at least once a year as a baseline — your membership includes a yearly Core Panel. If you're actively optimizing your health — adjusting diet, starting supplements, or training for performance — retesting every 6 months helps you measure the impact of your changes. Your action plan will include a recommended retest timeline based on your individual results.
